Chapter 10

I didn't understand.

Of course an intern wouldn't have his own office.

"Can't I at least say hi to him?"

I wandered around his office, inadvertently meeting his eyes.

James was leaning against the desk with one hand, gazing over at me, his eyes full of restrained affection.

"Didn't you say you came to see me?"

He was pouting.

My heart skipped a beat.

"Dr. James, can I kiss you now?"

James's response was "yes".

He sat on the couch, holding my legs and pressing down on top of me as he kissed me.

This man seemed quite easy to train.

But I really had a tendency to push my luck with him.

"Dr. James, don't take advantage of my ignorance. Is this how you treat patients?"

I pushed his chin away with my hand.

James's expression was one of barely contained desire.

"Of course it is." He stared at me, his Adam's apple bobbing as he let out a low groan. "You're very sick. Don't you know that?"

I grabbed his collar and leaned in close, staring into his eyes.

"But doctor, you haven't even prescribed the right treatment."

James lowered his eyes guiltily: "What do you want?"

I reached up to stroke his hair.

"I want to know if Dr. James takes his patients seriously. Can you repeat the symptoms I mentioned at the beginning?"

James lowered his eyelashes, turning his head as he tried to recall.

He seemed to remember.

His face burned hot as he bit his lower lip hard, not saying a word.

James was really quite cute.

I tapped his name badge with my fingertip.

"It seems the professor isn't good with words, but you remember it all, don't you?"

James nodded gratefully.

I raised an eyebrow and winked at him.

"Then keep kissing lower."

James fell silent.

...

Just as the two of us were getting lost in our passionate kisses, there was a sudden knock at the door.

"Dr. James, it's Ryan. I'm here to turn in my report."
